It was with great pride and excitement that I recently officially opened Bentleigh Secondary College’s new performing arts centre.

The PAC includes a theatre with seating for more than 400 people, light-filled instrumental studios and specialist music, dance and drama spaces.

The new building was made possible by a $13.2 million investment by the Victorian Labor Government.

It’s not the first time our Government has provided new facilities at Bentleigh Secondary College. A number of years ago, we built the new STEAM building as well as two additional indoor courts.

And in the past ten years, the Government has invested $16.9 billion in building new schools and more than 2,200 school upgrades throughout Victoria.
