The Minister for Roads Melissa Horne recently visited East Bentleigh to announce that work on new traffic lights at Centre and Bignell roads would begin in April.
This long awaited upgrade to the intersection will include traffic lights for a safer right hand turn, as well as dedicated left and right turn lanes out of Bignell Road.
It is expected that the lights will be switched on in November.
