Moorabbin locals are seeing the potential of small spaces with the delivery of the new Horscroft Place Pocket Park.

Kingston City Council received $700,000 from the Andrews Labor Government to create the new Horscroft Place Pocket Park by expanding the existing pocket park on Healey Street to open up a stronger, user-friendly connection between the Moorabbin Activity Centre and the Reserve.

The new pocket park includes a canopy of trees, bespoke outdoor furniture and public art installations.

The Horscroft Place Pocket Park is among more than 100 projects being delivered across Melbourne under the $154 million Suburban Parks Program, which is creating more than 6,500 hectares of new and upgraded parks and trails, dog parks and play spaces.
