It is now safer to cross Centre Road, near Balmoral Avenue, thanks to new pedestrian lights provided by the Victorian Government.

The lights have substantially improved the walkability of the immediate area, which is in close proximity to medical facilities, bus stops and places of worship.

The pedestrian crossing is the latest in a number of road safety upgrades the Government has delivered, including lights at Centre and Bignell roads and Jasper and Brewer roads intersections.
